Autumn in Huangling is also a season of harvest. Chili peppers, corn, pumpkins, and more have already started to be harvested and dried. Later, crops such as chrysanthemums and persimmons will also join the drying team.

In November, the “American Red Maple” trees in Huangling’s ancient village turn red first, dazzling with their vivid brilliance. In the mild autumn breeze, they emit the unique charm of the southern region.

The Red Maples Wujiao Trees known for their beauty, have also started turning red. By November, the ancient fragrance of maple trees fills the mountains, creating the most classic “autumn in the homes of those who dry crops and admire the red maples,” which is even more stunning.

Gingko Leaves Turning Yellow in the Garden (Mid-November to Early December)

By mid to late November, the leaves of gingko trees start to turn yellow. Golden leaves cover the branches, and with a gust of autumn wind, the yellow gingko leaves flutter down like a shower, becoming a major autumn attraction.
