The Cao Clan Hall, originally constructed during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, covers an area of approximately 360 square meters. It follows the architectural style of a central-axis hipped-roof, featuring three sections and five open rooms. The first section, known as Yimen (ritual gate), is followed by the Xiangtang (hall of offerings) in the second section, and the Qinshi (bedroom) in the third section. Within the ancestral hall, esteemed ancestors are enshrined, including Cao Xu, the Marquis of Shangcai in the Ming Dynasty, Cao Quanzheng, the loyal and virtuous Duke of Tang, and his two sons, Cao Yi, the Duke of Zhongmin, and Cao Xiang, the Duke of Zhongwu. The plaque above the main hall of the ancestral temple is engraved with the inscription “Shangcai Family Legacy,” penned by the renowned historian Wang Si.
