Shuikou, the entrance and exit of water sources in the village, holds significant cultural value in ancient Huizhou villages. In Huangling, the Shuikou Forest predominantly consists of taxus chinensis, with 78 surviving trees. Known as the “giant pandas of plants,” taxus chinensis forests of this scale are exceptionally rare. Within the forest, a new garden has been established, adorned with lush moss-covered ground and enveloped in mist, creating a surreal ambiance reminiscent of the enchanting world of the “Wizard of Oz.”
